Julia was my introduction to Ortho-Bionomy®, and she blew me away as she was working on my stallion and I was surrounded by waves of amazing energy while not even standing very near them! Gideon immediately took to her and the work, and had practically melted by the time it was over. Later, she worked on me, and I have never felt so safe or cared for by a body worker. Her insights were right on and very helpful, and I was pain free by about mid point of the session. The treatment and the feeling of peace continued to unfold for days afterwards. I whole-heartedly recommend her.

Julia has an amazing touch, and is so good at communicating with the humans about our needs and experiences as horses. She has golden hands, and her energy is divine even when she is not touching me. My body always feels better and more integrated after a session with her, and I am then better able to dance with my partner, Kim. I rest better after a session with her, too.

I first met Julia when I was interning at a horse barn in 2018 and one of the boarders had her out to work on their horse. As I was cleaning stalls, I listened and watched the horse completely unwind as Julia worked on him using Ortho-bionomy®. It made me wonder what she could do for my own horse, Renegade, who suffered from stifle pain.
Julia has since worked on Renegade several times, and instantly I saw a difference in him. He began to loosen up, and move more fluidly. Knowing that animals don’t surcome to placebo effect, I thought I should give Ortho-bionomy® a try for myself as I had 3 previous ankle surgeries, along with plantar fasciitis that required frequent painful injections. I will never forget the time she set her table up in the tack room at the barn, I was laying there hoping my pain would finally be resolved. She asked me to stand up, but I was disappointed when the pain was still there. Julia then asked me to lay back down, and after the second time of standing up I remember being in shock. The pain that I had felt every day for years, was just gone. I walked around, wiggled my foot, but it was completely relieved. I am happy to say I haven’t had an injection since!
Julia also has always been a great resource to understand anatomy and physiology. She takes the time to explain things in a way that makes sense. As a teaching assistant for equine science and management at Iowa State, I told my professor about her and we invited her to speak. Julia did a live demonstration on horses at a local barn for the class, and I think it opened many of their eyes to the Ortho-bionomy® world.
One of my favorite things about Julia is that she does not try to prove herself or her treatment. There is no sales pitch, no convincing, no judgement. I am so grateful for her services and her friendship. Every time she visits, Renegade perks up and is so happy to see her. He sure thinks she’s great too I highly recommend her to make not only your pets, but yourself more comfortable!
